Allan is currently the Program Coordinator at Sunset Elementary. He officially joined the SNBC team in 2009 as a Kindergarten and 1st grade Program Instructor at SNBC's Francis Scott Key Elementary Afterschool Program. Some of the highlights from his time at F.S. Key include directing the Glee Club, performing a "Dancing Queen/Jump On It Remix" with his students at the Variety Show, and making life long friends with the students, families and staff.

Allan received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 2009. In his free time, he enjoys softball, acapella, live concerts, and sporting events (Go Giants!). He also spends his time volunteering with the YMCA as a mentor for the Building Futures program, helping bring smiles to his 9-year-old mentee.

Allan credits his success to his sister, Annie Ma, with leaving him her footsteps to follow, as well as Shawn Smith, for encouraging him to challenge himself and strive for more.
