Darrow Vanderburgh-Wertz joined the SNBC family in the fall of 2007 as the Safety Network Community Organizer. In early 2009, she transitioned into the newly-created position of Community Initiatives Coordinator and, then, again in the fall of 2009, into the position of Special Initiatives Manager. At SNBC, she works on securing resources for SNBC's continued success and growth, runs the yearly SNBC Community Film Festival, oversees the devleopment of sfSunset.org, a community-focused website, and helps manage SNBC's communications including putting together SNBC's quarterly newsletter, Westside Wave: News from SNBC . Outside of SNBC, you'll likely find her on her bicycle. She hails from Durham, North Carolina, but, unfortunately, has no Southern accent to show for it.
