But we can't take refrigerators, florescent light bulbs or other hazardous materials for disposal such as paints and chemicals. (or anything with liquid)

This is a great way to support a great group, help protect the environment, and improve your own space! Pass it on!

Come enjoy free burgers and hot dogs courtesy of the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center. Meet your neighbors, play some games, and spend time with the SNBC family at this fun annual event. All are welcome!

Selected community submissions and films produced by participants in SNBC’s youth and adult filmmaking programs will be screened at the 4th Annual SNBC Community Film Festival. This annual event is free of charge, will include refreshments, and offers family-friendly entertainment. All are welcome! Check back here for more information soon.

Submit your films for the 4th Annual SNBC Community Film Festival

Deadline - 5:00 pm on January 22, 2008

Accepting all film genres - amateur films welcomed!

Film duration: 30 seconds to 8 minutes / Format: DVD

Submit your films to:

Please include your name, age, address, phone number, email, and the duration of the film. Note: Film submissions will not be returned.

Selected community submissions and films produced by participants in SNBC’s youth and adult filmmaking programs will be screened at the 4th Annual SNBC Community Film Festival on March 7, 2008.

Afterschool programs at SNBC's 5 school sites (A.P. Giannini, Francis Scott Key, Robert Louis Stenvenson, Sunset and Ulloa) resume.

Following a student rally, Ulloa ASLC will be having an open house for parents/guardians of students in the program. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
