The Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center is offering a wide range of fun and interesting programs this summer.  Below is a basic summary of programs being offered to elementary, middle, and high school students. &lt;b&gt;Elementary School ½ Day Camp&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
June 23rd – July 25th, 1:00 – 5:00PM&lt;br /&gt;

(Open to incoming 2nd - 5th graders)

South San Francisco, CA - April 2, 2008 – Moss Beach Homes, Inc., the lead agency for the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center as well as Aspira, one of the largest private providers of foster care services in California, announced that it has changed its name to Aspiranet to better reflect the work it does in communities across California. In the agency’s thirty-three years, it has gone from a single group home in Moss Beach, California, to a collaborative network of youth, family and community services that provide permanency and lifelong connections in communities throughout the State of California.

 <title>Food, Music and Fun at SNBC&#039;s Spring Community BBQ</title>

Hundreds of Sunset residents and community members braved the drizzle on Wednesday, March 26, for SNBC&#039;s annual Spring Community BBQ.  In addition to enjoying hamburgers, hot dogs, music provided by SNBC&#039;s DJ Club, youth games, and the &amp;quot;&lt;a href=&quot;/photo-gallery/bbq-photo-booth&quot;&gt;SNBC Photo Booth&lt;/a&gt;,&amp;quot; attendees were rewarded with a beautiful rainbow!  <title>Good times at the 4th Annual SNBC Community Film Festival</title>

On Friday, March 7, 2008, nearly 200 children, youth, and adults packed the Ulloa Elementary School Auditorium for the 4th annual SNBC Community Film Festival.  
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
The attendees were treated to an amazing evening that celebrated the creativity and diversity within our community. Fourteen short films were screened; each film spanned in length from 30 seconds to 6 minutes, covering a wide array of filmmaking styles and subject matter. In recognition of their accomplishments, filmmakers were honored with awards from District 4 Supervisor Carmen Chu, and special Lifetime Achievement Awards were given to two of SNBC&#039;s all-star staff: Mishiara Baker and Rebecca Devlin.
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
in addition to an evening of great entertainment, all guests enjoyed delicious popcorn and refreshments and music by the SNBC DJ Club.  Special thanks to the members of &lt;a href=&quot;/programs/afterschool-programs/scream&quot;&gt;SCREAM&lt;/a&gt; for mc-ing the event!
