On December 14, 2007, SNBC's West Sunset Rec Connect Program held its first ever Holiday Event, which was attended by nearly three hundred children, their family members, and residents of the Sunset community.

Held at the A.P. Giannini Middle School cafeteria, the Rec Connect Holiday Event featured performances by many of Rec Connect's fall session
project clubs such as Steel Pan Drumming, Dancing by the Beach, Yoga
for Toddlers, and Remote Control Cars, with dessert provided by the Mini
Meals club! Attendees enjoyed a free Chinese buffet,
entertainment, and lots of great information about Rec Connect's new upcoming
classes, including Web Design for Kids and Acting with English.
