SNBC's Rec Connect programs are part of the Rec Connect Initiative, which is a partnership involving the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, the Department of Children, Youth and their Families, and non-profits like the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center.

The goal of Rec Connect is to strengthen San Francisco rec centers as lively community hubs with new and improved programs for youth and their families. In partnership with the Recreation and Park Department, SNBC is offering a wide range of FREE programs at the West Sunset Recreation Center.

REGISTRATION

Registration begins online: June 1, 2009 at the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center

Our classes are filled via a lottery system. To apply, please click on the class below that you are intersted in:

Summer Program- Morning Session (9a-1p, ages 7-10)

Summer Program- Afternoon Session (2p-6p, ages 7-10)

Robotics Club! (ages 12-17)

Dancing by the Beach (ages 6-11) (CLASS IS FULL)

Advanced Dancing by the Beach (ages 12-17)

Web Design and Internet Literacy (ages 8-13) (CLASS IS FULL)

Mini Meals (ages 8-13) (CLASS IS FULL)

Steel Pan Drumming (ages 8-13) (CLASS IS FULL)

Sunset Green (ages 13-17)

Youth Leadership Council (ages 13-17)

Family Yoga (ages 2-6, with parent)

Kids Yoga (ages 6-12)
