Sunset Family Resource Collaborative
Funded by the First Five Commission, Human Services Agency, and Department of Children, Youth, and their Families, the Sunset Family Resource Collaborative (SFRC) provides comprehensive services to Sunset families. SFRC is a partnership between four organizations: the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center, Asian Women’s Resource Center, San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center, and Sunset Youth Services. The collaborating agencies offer high quality services to meet the specific needs of the families in the Sunset.
Rather than a traditional one-stop resource center, the Sunset Family Resource Collaborative provides needed services to families locally, through all four partnering agencies. SFRC offers a wide range of services, including parenting classes and support groups, educational workshops, parent and child interactive activities, and case management. And because SFRC is a cohesive family resource network, there is no wrong entry point for families accessing services. Rather, the partner agencies have a unique and seamless system that ensures participants receive services, rather than just referrals.
